DEMENTIA FIRST DAY CARE
Mondays, 10am – 4pm in the Jennings Hall
Dementia First, a local charity, provide day care facilities in a safe and comfortable environment by staff specifically trained in dementia care. Offering physical and mental stimulation with arts and crafts, word games, singing and exercise to music. Includes a hot lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
£56 + £5 for lunch and refreshments. Part days also available.

MUSIC MEMORIES
First Monday of the month: 10.30am – 12.00 noon in the Jennings Hall

A fun and stimulating singing group for people living with dementia and their carers run by local charity, Dementia First. These sessions promote communication through singing which can help with articulation, concentration, focus and motivation.
£5.00 per person, includes refreshments. Carers go free.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

GAMBLERS ANONYMOUS & GAM-ANAON
Thursdays: 8pm to 10pm in the Orpen Lounge & Plaxton Room
Gamblers Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to do the same. GA members offer the hand of friendship to anyone who is looking to try and stop gambling.
If you are affected by someone else’s gambling then Gam-Anon can help. Our meetings are for anyone who has been affected by a loved one’s gambling problem. We have been where you are now. By sharing your experience you will find that you are not alone!
If you are seeking a solution for living with this problem, we would like you to feel that we understand as perhaps few can. Why not pop along and get the help you have been looking for. There is no membership or registration required, just turn up.
SINGING MAMAS
Saturday: 10am – 11.30am in the Llewelyn Palmer Hall
A movement made up of nurses, doctors, midwives, musicians, teachers and community workers who are all committed to improving the wellbeing of all women through singing. Babies and children welcome too. £10/£8 per session.

Donations to East Grinstead Foodbank can be left in the basket during centre opening hours of 10am – 2pm Monday to Thursday.
If you have no food, and no money to buy any, East Grinstead Foodbank can help. Vouchers are available from many local organisations including the churches and doctor’s surgery.
