One of our favourite theatre companies, Farnham Maltings, returns to LDCC on Saturday 4th March with their new play, Yorgjin Oxo. The team that brought us It’s a Wonderful Life and The Iranian Feast, offers an evening of story and song from the lands of the far, far north.
Yorgjin Oxo is a marshlander who can tell a person by the sound of their squelch and is unlike any other hero. Thomas Crowe’s script fizzes with humour, larger than life characters and explores a place quite unlike our own. Join us for a tale of soggy nights, brave mice and the joys of being alive!
“Farnham Maltings have performed some great plays here and have become a firm favourite amongst our audiences” said Richard Holroyd, Director at the Community Centre. “We are delighted to welcome them back to perform their latest production.”
There will be a licensed bar open from 7pm so why not come along for a drink before the show which starts at 7.30pm
Tickets are £10 from the centre office.
