Located in the heart of the village, Lingfield & Dormansland Community Centre is a busy and vibrant centre and welcomes over 30,000 visitors every year.

We have over 40 regular groups and classes offering a range of activities for young and old alike including exercise and fitness, education, arts & crafts, leisure activities and social events.

We have 6 spacious rooms and halls to hire for your class, party, lecture, meeting, activity, celebration or event.   See our Room Hire section for more details.

Our Mission

The Community Centre is a not for profit organisation run and a registered charity (1076628). Our mission is:

‘To promote the welfare of inhabitants of Lingfield and Dormansland and the surrounding neighbourhoods in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants, and to do this without distinction of gender, sexual orientation, race or political, religious or other opinions’
