We are pleased to announce that we plan to reopen our doors on Tuesday 1st September 2020 as the first step towards bringing our Community Centre back to life.
By necessity, things will be very different from before, as we need to make the safety of our hirers, visitors, staff and volunteers a priority. We have put measures in place to ensure that we are Covid-19 Secure which include social distancing measures, enhanced cleaning regimes and encouraging good personal hygiene and hand washing.
Intially, the Centre will be open only to those attending organised, pre-booked activities. Public access will be limited to the Parish Council office and Centre office for general enquiries, hearing aid batteries and photocoping. Our IT suite, coffee lounge and toilets will remain closed to the general public for the time being.
We are hopeful that several of our groups will return in September but there will be some limitations on capacity and permitted activities. Some of our regular groups and classes may not be ready to return so please check with the tutor or group leader first before coming to the centre. We will try to keep our website upadated with the latest information on the activities taking place.
To use that well-worn phrase, these are unprecedented times. Whist there are many challenges and the recovery may be slow, rest assured we will work very hard to get the centre back on its feet and back to being the vibrant community hub that brings so much value to our community.
We look forward to seeing you soon
