The new season at Flix in the Stix, Lingfield’s film club, started last night with The Imitation Game and over 99% of the audience rated as a very good film.

Next month’s film, on Sunday 11 October, is The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel with Judi Dench and Maggie Smith among the many stars. The film will be proceeded (7pm) by a presentation about the Royal Film Performance, its history and exclusive footgage from this year’s event when The Second Best Exotic Marigold hotel was premiered at the Odeon Leicester Square in the presence of TRHs The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.
