St Catherine’s Hospice, based in Crawley, are holding a volunteer recruitment open morning at Lingfield & Dormansland Community Centre on Saturday 18th February, 10am – 12 noon.
The Patient and Family Support Team are looking for volunteers to give emotional support to terminally ill people and their families. This could be providing companionship to a patient or helping people after bereavement.
Volunteers will be given full training and support but will need to show emotional resilience and that they can work within clear boundaries. In this rewarding role, you will meet new people, develop your skills and make a genuine difference.
Come along and meet the team and have a chat about this rewarding role. They will be in the Allison Room between 10am and 12 noon.
If you are interested in volunteering and can’t make the open morning, visit www.stch.org.uk/volunteer/ or call 01293 447351
