Flix in the Stix brings you the updated version of West Side Story at our next screening on Sunday 8th May at 7.30pm.

Directed by Academy Award winner Steven Spielberg, from a screenplay by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Tony Kushner, West Side Story tells the classic tale of fierce rivalries and young love in 1957 New York City. Based on the classic story of Romeo and Juliet, this 2021 remake lifts Bernstein’s score and Sondheim’s lyrics to a different dimension, whilst honouring both stage and screen. Lovers of the original movie will not be disappointed!

Doors open at 7pm, with the screening starting at 7.30pm.
